Jay Shah Mr. Shah is the chief financial officer of HxTI. He has significant experience in mergers & acquisitions, strategy development and execution, operations and finance. Over the past 19 years, he has been involved in 22 successful acquisition/divestiture transactions with an aggregate purchase price of over $1 billion. He has also been involved in doubling revenues and profits of companies through organic growth and acquisition growth. Prior to joining HxTI, Mr. Shah served as the CFO at CareGain, a software company in the consumer-directed healthcare plan industry where he was instrumental in its January 2006 sale to publicly-held Fiserv, Inc. He has also held key positions within Haights Cross Communications, a $180M VC-backed roll up in the education industry including thePresident & CEO of Buckle Down Publishing and EVP, COO & CFO of Triumph Learning. Prior to Haights Cross, Mr. Shah held key positions within Primedia (formerly known as K-III Communications), a $1.8 billion publicly held media company, started by private equity firm KKR including VP Operations & CFO at Films for the Humanities and Director of Acquisition Analysis and Manager of Internal Audit at parent Primedia. Prior to Primedia, Mr. Shah spent 16 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in their Emerging Business Services group. Mr. Shah holds the Bachelor of Science in Accounting from New York University, and Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University.
