Joe Murray Mr. Murray is vice president of technology for HxTI with responsibility for managing all aspects of the company's product development including systems architecture, application development, databases, and all technology-based products and services. Since joining the Company in 2002, Mr. Murray led the team that successfully launched and now operates the Philadelphia Health Information Exchange, the nation's first diagnostic imaging health information exchange. Prior to joining HxTI, Mr. Murray was responsible for product specification, strategy, and delivery of smartcard software at Gemplus Corporation with particular focus on the financial services market. Prior to Gemplus, Mr. Murray was one of the founders of Hesta Corporation, a mid-Atlantic ERP technology consulting firm. Mr. Murray is the author of several patent applications related to smart card technology as well as papers on internet privacy and security. He holds a masters degree in information science with a concentration on Software Engineering from Drexel University and bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Delaware. |
