HxTI works with healthcare providers to implement and operate health information exchanges (HIEs) that enhance the care of patients shared among multiple provider organizations. Built on our iHistory technology platform, these HIE solutions can be rapidly deployed and easily customized to meet the clinical and business needs of disparate organizations brought together by patients in common.
Trauma referral network
For busy trauma centers fielding transfer requests from outside facilities, HxTI provides the ability to remotely view images and supporting clinical documents online, in real time. In doing so, we enables the trauma team to better assess potentially inbound patients while more effectively assembling the team and prepping the trauma bays for patients in transit.
Cancer treatment network
Referrals from outside facilities are the norm at a dedicated cancer center where it is not uncommon for patients to arrive with armloads of old films and, increasingly, CD-ROMs of their prior imaging result. By enablings PACS-to-PACS communication among members of the referral network, HxTI enables cancer centers to more efficiently get "outside" imaging into their own systems and rapidly into the hands of physicians consulting with their patients.
